January/February Issue mails this week!

The Jan/Feb issue of Needlepoint Now is at the mail house and is scheduled to mail on Thursday, January 6. We had a lot of fun with this issue. We call it the “Pink Issue”. You’ll see. I’m sorry if you don’t like pink but many of the designs lend themselves to many color choices.

Enjoy the new issue and for those going to TNNA’s Long Beach show, I’ll see you there.

This is the first time I have known in advance when Needlepoint Now is being mailed. It is always fun to receive a new issue but now I have some time to actually look forward to receiving it. I can’t wait to read every article as i always do and will be thinking pink!

I just found your blog and must say that I am impressed that you have actually taken on something so time consuming as a blog along with your editor responsibilities. I can’t imagine your energy. When do you nap???? : )

Also wanted to take this opportunity to say that NN is my all time favorite needlework magazine! From it’s inception (in 1999?) it stood out among it’s competitor’s and I’m delighted at your continued success. Each issue is always so full of everything needlepoint, interesting articles on all things new in the stitchy world and I admit I am a huge fan of the advertising. Where else can I learn about what I might “need”? Thanks for letting us know when to start looking for the next issue. Wishing you all the best in 2011!

Thank you Donna but I’m a terrible blogger as you can see by the frequency of my posts. I made a New Year’s resolution to try to be better. We’ll see if I can stick to it.

It is good to hear that you are enjoying the magazine. All of us here really enjoy working on it. How lucky are we to have jobs that we really love! The advertisers never cease to amaze me with their constant stream of wonderful new products. The downside to this job is that I can’t stop myself from indulging in needlepoint canvases, threads and what not. I’m going to have to live forever to get all of my stitching done.

And FYI, I love to nap! Mostly on the weekends but it is a luxury that I do indulge in. If I ask my dogs if they want to take a nap, they just about knock me over trying to get to the bedroom first. Napping in our house is a big dog pile.

I hope you continue to enjoy the magazine.
